It was The End and we loaded everything up and headed home!
Axel was sad to see us go.
The weather was fabulous as usual, rain, 30 degrees and tornado warnings But, the footing in the rings was great and management was friendly and efficient.
That's one hansome horse!
Mexico, aka, Gamaliel competed in the 2nd years and the Adult Amateurs. He tied for Reserve Champion in the 2nd years and Reserve in the Adults and 4th in the NAL Classic. His peeps all told him he was great.
Prior to showing, Phile and Caracas discussed the game plan. These were very difficult equitation classes ahead and Caracas was open to suggestion.
The classes were large this weekend, 26 in some and the courses very challenging, but Caracas and Brittian still came away with 2nds and 3rds.
Undie only gets his instructions from Clair, but he's not really impressed. Morgan did the THIS, which is a new name for and old equitation. She did a great job and was third, she also did the Children's Hunter and ribboned in every class..
Dutie, aka, Dewpoint talks to admirers about his Championship in the older Children's. Just for kicks, he won the Classic too.
Eloise at the Plaza and Lexxi Strauss braved the cold and wet and did the older Children's Hunter, ribboning in each class.
High Seas, aka, Quasi, Morgan Bare's new horse went to his first horseshow. He did the 3'3" pregreen and got seconds and was 5 in the Pregreen Classic.

Azuro and Traci Biro got at 81.5 in the Adult classic, inspite of the cold and rain.
This was 4 year old Hemi (Endeavor) 1st Pregreen. He showed the 1st day in the rain and the wind. He still got 2 seconds and a 5th. He did the Preadult with his mom Stacy Vertullo and won the hack.
Karen Mitchell and Wishes did the Preadults and were 1st and 3rd.
Is Stacey catching snowflakes on her tongue?
